SpywareGuard provides a real-time safety solution against so-called spyware.
It works like to an anti-virus program, by scanning EXE and CAB files on access and aware you if known spyware is identified. If this is the case, it primarily blocks access to the file and then allows the user to choose an action.
An anti-virus program scans files before you open them and avoids effecting if a virus is detected - SpywareGuard does the same thing, but for spyware! And you can just have an anti-virus program running alongside SpywareGuard. SpywareGuard also provides special Download Protection which blocks spyware downloads, and Browser Hijack Protection, which alerts of browser commandeer movement in real-time.

| • I like the program as well as I like SpywareBlaster. The two programs work together to clash spyware/adware. I love this product and I highly recommended it to others.
